Mélomanie enjoys working with and increasing awareness of contemporary composers. The ensemble is dedicated to commissioning and performing new works written esepcially for them. Since 2003, Mélomanie has premiered more than 17 new works of regional and international composers, many of whom are listed below. Their new CD, Florescence, is a celebration of contemporary music, featuring works from five of the below composers: Ingrid Arauco, Christopher Braddock, Mark Hagerty, Chuck Holdeman and Mark Rimple.
